Paramotors

The area reserved for paramotors will allow flights at up to 300ft AGL during several periods. For local flying departures and arrivals, a specific circuit will be notified. The specialist paramotor team will manage the transport of material between the parking area and the arrivals/departures area. Pilots should pre-register with the Paramotor team to obtain information and assistance (see section Paramotor Pilot reception below)

The French Federation, the FFPLUM (www.ffplum.com) will be present at the festival, represented by their president and officers as well as their pilot shop.

Different forums and conferences will be held over the weekend on the Saturday and Sunday mornings, more details in the final program. A special emphasis will be placed on the subject of electric motors, but classic motor options will also be discussed as well as questions of regulation and safety.

The best looking and presented machines (technical, construction, decoration) are eligible for prizes in the « Concours d’esthétique ». The machines entered in this contest will be placed near the entrance to the 2nd hand market. If you wish to enter the concours, please register in advance on the website www.ulmblois.fr to allow us to direct you to the right area on arrival. The prize jury will meet to judge the machines on Saturday between 13:00 and 14:00. The prizes will be awarded at about 15:00. During the festival, fancy-dress will be welcome and will score a bonus in the concours.

Paramotor Pilot Reception
A dedicated area will be reserved for paramotor pilots and their companions, managed by members of the club «A voile et à moteur» designed to provide ideal conditions for safe arrivals and departures by paramotor.

Pre-registration is obligatory on the website www.ulmblois.fr and you should also make contact with the club by email to: info@avoileetamoteur.fr or by telephone to Bruno Seigneur on +33 670 523 992.

For pilots arriving by road, registration is still required and this will allow you to take your equipment and personal vehicle directly to the paramotor area.

IMPORTANT:
For every pilot wanting to fly during the Festival, a crash helmet, wing identification marks and insurance are obligatory.
